The History of Fanpop

Already in 1994. Kinget and Butch had a dream to perform live on a stage.
Just for fun they recorded demotapes in Butch´s room. It was crappy. But they thought it was cool.
And that´s what they did until one day in 1997. Kinget started his own record label, called "Kingets Records".

They started to record their first CD called "Fanpop´s Back". The CD didn´t sell well so thet put Fanpop down for
a couple of years.

Then 2000 they flamed the fuse again and recorded "Dearest Helpless". And since then the albums have come and sold
gold in all of Sweden and Europe.
After the success with the records "Ballerina är godare än fitta" and "Judarna Måste Vara Tokiga", Butch met
Dempa and Olof Lindh. Dempa joined the band in the summer of 2002.

They recorded "Fittsaft Smakar Gräddfil (Jag vill sitt-kissa)" that summer, containing the hits "Peter Svensson" and
"Worhammer" and "Pack". At this moment, Fanpop was topping the charts in USA and Europe aswell in Sweden.
Olof Lindh always wanted join the band but it never took place.

In easter 2003, Fanpop recorded "Enkel Hummersås" a smahing god damn HARD album. The tracks "Tribut till David"
and "Hellgate" were the absolute best of them. Fanpop also took place on the Matrix Reloaded Soundtrack with their
deathmetal song from "Enkel Hummersås" called "Ultimate Explosion".
Olof Lindh joined the band in summer of 2003. But only for the help they needed.
Together with him, they recorded a live show in Idaho called "Live in Idaho". Olof left the band as planned.
February 2004, they recorded their massive death metal album "Empty" with the hit "Cops and Donuts" and "Riot". During the recording, their first DVD was recorded, titled "Lifestyles of the dead and fucked". But that DVD haven´t seen the light yet.
They are planning a new cd coming out spring 2005, but during the disaster in Thailand, they decided to push it further in the future.
